⭐ This Week's Top Picks

  • Dressed Like Boys (Fri 27 Mar, 20:00) — Belpop balladeer celebrates his six MIA nominations with an extra intimate show. This is one of Belgium's most warmly loved acts in a room that couldn't be better suited. Grab tickets fast.

  • Minor Swing by Wim Chielens (Fri 27 & Sat 28 Mar, MaZ, Magdalenastraat 27, 20:00) — the final weekend of this sharp, funny and deeply human one-man show. If you haven't been, this is your absolute last chance.

  • Belpop Bonanza XXX (Sat 28 Mar, Theaterzaal Biekorf, Sint-Jakobsstraat 8, 16:00 & 20:00) — Jan Delvaux and Jimmy Dewit in what they themselves describe as "a downright scandalous show." Belgian pop classics, two shows.

🎨 🎻 🧺 Art, Music & Markets

Still the exhibition to catch right now: INVENTING OBSESSIONS by Sarah Vandeursen at CC Brugge's Exporuimte Biekorf (Sint-Jakobsstraat 8) runs until 19 June — a free, genuinely surprising show that turns a very creative obsession with dried sausages into compelling visual art. FREE entry.

The permanent collections at Groeningemuseum and Memlingmuseum (Sint-Janshospitaal) are perennially worth revisiting — especially as spring light starts flooding those gorgeous interiors. Daily 9:30–17:00, €16 combo.

Markets keep the week beautifully grounded. Saturday's 't Zand/Beursplein sprawls with spring produce, flowers, cheese and the usual loveable cast of characters. Wednesday's Markt is the place to enjoy seasonal bulbs.

🎬 🎭 Stage, Screen, and Scene

Minor Swing by Wim Chielens closes its run this weekend at MaZ (Fri 27 & Sat 28 Mar, Magdalenastraat 27, 20:00, €12) — pittig pijnlijk, soms sappig grappig, as the Flemish would say. Bittersweet theatre at its finest.

Connect by Kunsthumaniora Brugge (Sat 28 Mar, Koninklijke Stadsschouwburg, Vlamingstraat 29, 14:30 & 19:30, €10–€12) — a contemporary dance showcase from Bruges' own arts school, fizzing with youthful energy and surprising choreography.
