Bruges Accordion Festival. The organisers write: “After years of silence, the accordion is finally returning to Bruges! On Sunday, November 9, 2025, the Bruges Accordion Festival will breathe new life into this beautiful instrument—with a fantastic programme.

From warm folk (Broes) sounds to fiery Electro Tango (Bon Sjoer), from Musette à la Django Reinhardt (Lawen Gavalo) to classical gems and surprising pop ( Conservatorium Brugge and Mols ACCORDEONENSEMBLE) – the accordion proves itself to be a chameleon in the music world.

A day for every music lover:
Expect performances by promising young artists (Podiumkans voor accordionisten) and established bands with international recognition. The atmospheric Magdalena Theater hall is the heart of the festival, but the foyer also buzzes with music, with an open stage and intimate concerts.

An instrument with many faces.
